Pooja has a proactive leadership role in LMU’s crisis communications. She develops management and mitigation strategies to protect and advance the university’s interests and reputation.
She is an award-winning PR professional with extensive experience in corporate, consumer, employee, and crisis communications. Over her career, she has led strategic communications across the U.S., Asia, Africa, and Latin America, driving high-impact integrated campaigns and managing crises for global brands such as Google, Amazon, Samsung, American Express, Citibank, Pernod Ricard, Swatch Group, and Toyota, among others.
Her career spans both agency and in-house leadership roles, including positions at Burson (BCW), Citibank, and Weber Shandwick. These experiences have allowed her to advise companies across a wide range of industries, including financial services, technology, e-commerce, consumer goods, food and beverage, media and entertainment, and lifestyle. Most recently, Pooja served as global communications lead for Tala, gaining valuable insights into fintech and mission-driven storytelling.
Pooja holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Relations, both from Delhi University.
Outside of work, Pooja enjoys cooking and traveling — no small feat as a single parent to her vibrant 6-year-old.
