Robin’s many areas of focus include promoting the myriad curricular innovations fueling LLS’s academic excellence via newsletters, websites, social media, and more; growing and enhancing the applicant pool for all LLS degree programs via campaigns including email drip and ads; liaising with alumni and advancement partners in promoting programs, news, and events; elevating the law school’s reputation among influencers and peers; and leveraging new and existing content to create and update video and other multimedia content across platforms.
Robin joined us from UCLA, where she had been associate director of communications in the Division of Undergraduate Education for six years. She led marketing and communications efforts for summer sessions and study abroad that included email marketing, copywriting, website edits, and other strategic initiatives. She also provided communications leadership and support for other departments in the Division of Undergraduate Education, including the Academic Advancement Program, Undergraduate Research Centers, and College Academic Counseling, working with staff to produce printed and digital collateral, news stories, brand guidance, and more.
Prior to that, Robin was the communications writer at USC Shoah Foundation – The Institute for Visual History and Education, covering all institute news and profiles of visiting scholars, survivors, and other partners. She was also a writer for the Stanford News Service, publicity assistant in the UC Davis Department of Theatre and Dance, and wrote about local theater for the LA STAGE Times.
Robin received her B.A. in English and Film Studies at UC Davis, and her M.A. in arts journalism at USC’s Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism. During her free time, she enjoys seeing Broadway musicals, watching all the films nominated for the Academy Awards each year, and playing with her dog, Maisie.
