Tim O’Neill is a member of the Strategic Partnerships and External Relations Department in LMU Marketing and Communications, which works in close collaboration with the deans and provost. He coordinates, manages, and produces LMU Playa Vista Campus marketing, communications, operations, outreach, and events.

O’Neill joined LMU School of Film and Television in 2003 as assistant to the dean, later serving as the dean’s special project manager, and then an academic affairs associate. He produced and oversaw events for SFTV, including the school’s signature Monday Nights Series, FilmCraft, and Film Outside the Frame. O’Neill was also an associate producer of SFTV’s Netflix show “The Hollywood Masters” and serves on the board of directors for Catholics in Media Associates (CIMA).

O’Neill began his career in advertising at Irma Mann Strategic Marketing on the Sheraton Hotels account, before moving on to Ketchum Communications, where he managed the Acura automobile account. He was also part of the international marketing team at 20th Century Fox, working on such films as “Mrs. Doubtfire,” “Speed,” “Braveheart,” and “Independence Day.” In 1997, O’Neill temporarily left the world of marketing to work for literary agent Maggie Field and The Field-Cech Agency. He earned a B.S. in communication studies from Emerson College.
